Mummy aka “Mush-Mush” is literally super woman… and by far the most amazing mom in the world! She is the glue that holds our family together… you should see what happens if you leave Daddy, Gulgul and me together without her… everything falls apart, literally. I have never met anyone to this day that can accomplish as much as she does so effortlessly. While I was growing up mummy was able to balance everything from teaching kindergarten to driving me to and supporting me in all my 101+ extra curricular activities to always having our favorite meals ready and waiting for us! Mummy, like Daddy has multiple degrees including 2 Masters and a degree in elementary education! However mummy’s talent doesn’t end there she is also amazingly talented at the fine arts…there are so many school projects I would have failed without her skills and help. She can paint, sew, construct, and even sing!
Although Mummy always tells me I’m just like Daddy, I think I get my stamina and competitive edge from her. If you’ve ever seen Mummy watch a Cowboys game or play any game or sport… you’ll know she means business! If there is one thing I wish I could have more of, it is mummy’s unbelievable patience and compassion. Mummy persistently sticks to anything she puts her mind to until she gets it with utmost patience and no frustration. She is also extremely compassionate and caring. While in medical school and in my future career as a doctor I strive to treat my patients with the same compassion and care I have watched mummy treat everyone with all these years.
Mummy and I have the best of time when we are together. One of my favorite trips to India by far is when we went sightseeing in Jaipur. Her trip to NYC to visit me while I was at Columbia was also a blast… though I tired her out by packing in as many tourist attractions as possible in those 3 short days! Mummy is so in demand by all of us that there have been epic fights over who gets Mummy between Gulgul and me (especially when I would convince Mummy to come stay with me in San Antonio and Gulgul wouldn’t be able to come…hehehe!)
The thing I look most forward to when coming to Dallas is getting to be with Mummy! I am so lucky to have her as my Mush-Mush and can’t put into words how grateful I am for everything she has done and continues to do for me. I truly wouldn’t be who I am today without her continued love and support. I love you Mummy!
